MOTORCYCLE LICENSING IN ONTARIO, CANADA:
Anyone who wants to ride a motorcycle on public roads will need to get a license to do so. We often get asked what’s involved in getting a motorcycle license, so we’ve produced this guide to help you understand how to do it.
Before we begin, it’s worth mentioning that the motorcycle licensing process varies depending on where you are in the world. For example, the European regulations are significantly more stringent than those in North America. For the purposes of this feature, we’ll focus exclusively on what’s required to get a motorcycle license in Ontario, Canada.
INTRODUCTION:
Getting a motorcycle license in Canada is a reasonably straight forward process. There may be some peculiarities and nuances across the different provinces, but we’ll stick to the licensing process for Ontario. After all, Ontario is where most of the registered motorcycles are in Canada anyway.
