Everyone loves to prattle on about how dangerous riding a motorcycle can be. But isn’t that just one of the core elements of its overall appeal?
These very same people will also freely label motorcycle riders will all manner of anachronistic stereotypes. According to them, we are all irresponsible morons, with a reckless disregard for societal norms, who live outside the confines of acceptability and enjoy nothing more than to cause trouble. Unsurprisingly, this unfair stereotyping couldn’t be further from the truth - at least not for the vast majority of riders.

Let’s start by stating the obvious …
There’s nothing sensible about riding a motorcycle. In North America especially, motorcycling is almost exclusively regarded as an optional hobby. A hobby, we may add, that has the capacity to drain your bank account almost as fast as any drug or gambling addiction.
