One of our readers provides us with story in which he recalls an experience when travelling in India.
" If you take away the fact that it is the most populous country on Earth, India was once a quiet place. When I first visited it in 1986, you could hear conversations, individual cars honking, cows mooing, and the familiar sound of motorcycles. You’d hear them coming nearer, passing close by then moving off. They were probably made by Bajaj, TVS, the Japanese big four and, of course, the Royal Enfield. "
