BMW C400GT - FULL REVIEW (Riding BMW's Scooter)

C$2.99Price

We can’t remember the last time that we had the opportunity to ride a scooter for an extended period.  It was probably when we lived in London (UK) in our early 20’s when we owned a Lambretta.  We do recall how much fun scooters can be though.  But scooters have evolved since then, so what exactly is this BMW C400GT all about?

  • Setting the Scene:

It was a bright, sunny day when we arrived at BMW to collect the C400GT.  We had just finished riding the new BMW R1300GSA and we were excited by the prospect of riding a super scooter.  While the two bikes are definitely at opposite ends of the motorcycle spectrum, its precisely for that reason that we were so excited about riding the C400GT.  Some would say that we were going from the sublime to the ridiculous but, frankly, we didn’t care.

Parked next to one another, the massive GSA totally totally overshadows the scooter, but so what?  That didn’t matter and that’s not the point.  The point is to find out what the C400GT has to offer, who its for and whether its any good.  All of which are the subjects of this feature.
