Everywhere you turn in Canada there seems to be an abundance of classic American-style cruisers. They fill the car parks of every Tim Hortons throughout the riding season. But we have to ask … what exactly is the appeal of these bikes?
Right from the word go, you’ll realize that these bikes are far from perfect. In fact, we could go so far as to say that they are woefully inadequate.
Many of these bikes are under-powered, equipped with insufficient braking, incredibly expensive and grossly over-weight. This all contributes to bikes that perform poorly and simply don’t handle that well. But leaving all of that aside, what is the appeal of leviathans of the bike world?
